Coauthorship network of all articles in 55 ecological journals from 2010-2010 that include at least one coauthor from Costa Rica (Bruna & Hahn, unpubl. data).
We are studying scientific communities in Latin America, especially (a) factors that influence within- and between-country patterns of scientific productivity, (b) the role of international collaboration on the impact of scientists and their research, and (c) the structure of scientific institutions and networks.
